Acting David Allen Brooks has carved a niche in the entertainment industry as an actor on stage, television, and film. Known to thousands as Keith Dennison on "The Young and The Restless", as well as roles on "The Edge of Night" and "One Life to Live", David has delighted those fans on the big screen as well in such recent hits as "Castaway" by Robert Zemeckis, Oliver Stone's "The Doors", John Carpenter's "The Kindred", and Sylvester Stallone's "Nighthawks". His career got it's start at the well-known Actors' Studio and a lead role at Joe Papp's Public Theater production of "The Normal Heart" sealed his fate for a lifetime spent pursuing the arts. After appearing in 15 feature films, it is the role of Max Eilerson, the difficult and brilliant archeologist on "Crusade" that has brought David his most notorious acclaim. Despite the show's cancellation after only 13 episodes, the popularity of the character has earned him a devoted fan following. David's continuing work on television shows such as "ER", and for Oscar™ winning directors like Oliver Stone and Robert Zemeckis continues to keep him in the public eye. A California native, David pursues his adventurous hobbies such as surfing, ski-trekking and kayaking, and has found time to begin one more career, as a multimedia abstract painter.
